Mission Trips to

Lourdes, France

LadyofLourdes

In 1858 AD, our Blessed Mother Mary appeared to St. Bernadette in Lourdes, France.  Among the various visions Mary brought Bernadette to a grotto where she found an underground fresh water spring.  The waters of the spring had miraculous healing powers and many people have been cured of handicaps and grave illnesses.  Presently thousands of pilgrims, crippled, on their death beds, and being carried by volunteers, travel to Lourdes every day seeking the healing and rejuvenation that only the Queen of Heaven can provide.  To assist the pilgrims, missionaries and volunteers come from all over the world.  The ‘Lourdes Volunteers’ will carry paralyzed and ailing pilgrims off trains, wheel them to the grotto, and lift them down into the waters.  (Click the link below to see our group assisting the North American Lourdes Volunteers.)  There have been just over 60 validated miraculous healings that have been reviewed and scrutinized by the harshest critics.  However there have been hundreds of other registered healings where the pilgrim simply opted to not go under the scrutiny of doctors, scientist, and other critics.

We will again travel to Lourdes this summer in June, 2008.  See Calendar.

When St. Bernadette died, her body never decayed.  Her Incorrupt Body is still visible at the Cathedral in Lourdes.
