The Chippewa Falls Pro-Life Club is a semi formal club to centralize our efforts in promoting the Culture of Life and raising awareness of life issues among the McDonell student body and youth in Chippewa Falls.  The group is lead and sponsored by Mr. Emilio Aita (715-723-9126 x319, emilioaita@cacs.k12.wi.us, www.chippewafallsyouthministry.org).

 

 

Prayer Devotions:

 

†   Litany of the Unborn- Mondays at noon, in conclusion to Adoration in the McDonell HS Chapel   †

 

†  Pro-Life Rosary- every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm at

Planned Parenthood, 24 Sunshine Cir  Chippewa Falls, WI 54729  †

Pilgrimage for Life, January 19-23, 2008

In 1973 the US Supreme Court decided to legalize abortion in the Roe vs Wade trial.  Every year since there has been a major rally and political demonstration in Washington DC which culminates with the ‘Pro-Life March’ which goes from the White House, to Capitol Hill, to the Supreme Court building.  This pilgrimage, led by Sr. Stefania and the Diocese of Lacrosse, includes daily mass, a youth mass and rally with bishops and cardinals from all over North America, Rosary at Planned Parenthood Clinic, and various other pro-life activities. 

 

            Requirements-

                        - 1 Page Paper, all students must type 1 paragraph (5+ sentences) on each

                        of the 2 following questions and turn it in with their deposit: a) How has easier

                        access to artificial birth-control led to more women seeking out Abortions?  b)

                        What are some other Pro-Life issues other than Abortion and why are they life

                        issues?

                        - Deposit Due, $175.00 on Wed Nov 7

                        - Teacher Contact Sheets, McDonell students need to get a sheet from Mr. Aita

                        and ask all their 2nd Quarter teachers fill it out before they pay they’re deposit

                        - Candy Bars money due this week

                        - Mary Kay Fundraiser,

                                    - Meeting Sunday, Oct 21 2:00-3:00 pm at McDonell

                                    - Sell stuff from Oct 21-Nov 2, raise money for your trip

                                    - Sunday, Nov 4, big Mary Kay Party at McDonell, from 1:00 – 5:00 pm
